Our Bakery

A plant based artisan sourdough bakery run by a father and daughter duo.  Following ancient Latvian recipes, we bake authentic sourdough rye bread. Mayse bakery uses only high quality products and each bread is hand made. We ferment our bread for around 35 - 40 hours. Latvian bread is unique because of its flavors and its baking techniques. It is very different from Italian and French bread. Baker Alex uses secret ancient technique and that gives our bread rich and authentic taste
